@SwillinGrog I don’t know what a Character Map is, but, yes, green bottles are a danger.
@ronaldtheriot Character Map. Yes, I was aware of that, the whole history of the dispute is very interesting. I’m still so wary of those green bottles.
@Crisgo3d You’re right, Krul. A green bottle is always a risk.
@maddmaxstar Thanks, mms! I have NEVER seen that brand sold here in anything but the 11.2 oz. bottle.
@SwillinGrog Did you know that Budejovicky (how do you put those little accents on when you type?) is the Czech name and Budweiser is the German name? I was really glad it wasn’t skunked!
Great review. Here they call it BudÄ›jovickĂ˝ Budvar and there are several variants – one of which was my first ever review. The one you had is a very nice beer as long as it’s not skunked in that green bottle.
Weird that you got the rip-off bottles, I think we get ours in 500mL bottles here. I didn’t get any skunk with the Green Bottle either.
I like this better than American Budweiser, but didn’t like it as much as Pilsner Urquell. Cheers dude.
Woah, got lucky with this being it is in a green bottle. Good gamble. I tried the Pilsner Urquel and it skunked and tasted bad. I have to try this.
@ronaldtheriot A very nice dark lager indeed IMO.cheers mate
@gez1308 Ooh-wee! They make a dark lager? Thanks for watching, Gez!
I had this a few months back, I rated it A- by memory, so I agree with your rating, if ya can get their dark lager I would highly recommend it anyway good review as always Ron.cheers mate
