Good Things Festival Melbourne 2018

The first instalment of Australia’s newest rock festival Good Things kicked off in Melbourne in early December at the Flemington Racecourse (forever remembered as the home of Big Day Out – RIP). The line up of 90s/2000s rock bands (The Offspring, Stone Sour, The Used, Bullet For My Valentine, Tonight Alive) combined with the 38 degree weather really did feel like we’d been transported back to a smaller Big Day Out festival. Download Festival Melbourne 2018

Australia’s first Download Festival back in March filled the hole that Soundwave Festival left behind when it ended in 2015 (or at least came close), with bands like Korn, Sabaton, Arch Enemy, Prophets Of Rage, and some unexpected ones like Limp Bizkit and Good Charlotte.
