Groovin The Moo Bendigo 2017

A few weeks ago I photographed Groovin The Moo festival in Bendigo for Music Junkee. It was my first time back shooting the festival since 2013 and the fashion has definitely changed since then. No more groups of friends in animal onesies, but plenty of groups of friends in minimal clothing, despite it being about 6 degrees by the time the festival ended. They had some great bands on the bill this year, including Against Me!, Amy Shark, George Maple and Violent Soho. Highlights Of 2015

2015 was a pretty good year for gigs, here’s some quick stats: • I photographed 149 bands, at 18 different venues in Melbourne and Sydney • 100 of these were bands I had never shot before • I attended 36 gigs, 27 of these I photographed • I photographed 7 festivals (4 of these were music festivals) • Tour of the year for me: Smashing Pumpkins I think 2015 will always be remembered (for me anyway) as the year that Soundwave Festival ended. Falls Festival 2013

For New Year’s Eve I photographed Falls Festival again for The Music Network for the third year in a row. I always have a great time there, the people are great, and the bands are even better.
