Good Things Festival Melbourne 2018

The first instalment of Australia’s newest rock festival Good Things kicked off in Melbourne in early December at the Flemington Racecourse (forever remembered as the home of Big Day Out – RIP). The line up of 90s/2000s rock bands (The Offspring, Stone Sour, The Used, Bullet For My Valentine, Tonight Alive) combined with the 38 degree weather really did feel like we’d been transported back to a smaller Big Day Out festival. No Doubt Summer Tour 2009 – California

Where do I start? No Doubt have been my favourite band since I was 10 or 11 years old. I grew up watching their videos on Rage every weekend, collecting clippings from TV Hits magazines, and like every other fan – just really wanting to be Gwen Stefani. In October 2000, No Doubt toured Australia and my parents bought me a ticket to go and see them at Festival Hall in Melbourne with some friends.
